Patient Safety

Your safety is our priority. At The Deccan Hospitals, patient safety is at the heart of everything we do. From preventing infections to ensuring safe medication use, we are committed to providing high-quality care with zero compromise on safety.

Our Safety Practices

  • Limiting long shifts for medical staff to prevent fatigue-related errors.

  • Preventing central line infections and other hospital-acquired infections.

  • Educating patients on safe use of blood thinners and medicines.

  • Building rapid response teams to handle emergencies.

  • Using evidence-based practices for all treatments.

  • Re-engineering hospital discharge plans to prevent unnecessary readmissions.

  • Preventing venous thromboembolism (VTE) — a leading cause of avoidable hospital deaths.
